The first workshop of the project "Development of competences for Democratic citizenship through formal, non-formal and informal learning" in the framework of the Erasmus + Youth Program took place. During the past four days 40 teachers and youth workers have got an opportunity to learn from the experience of their colleagues who have done job shadowings in Poland and Slovakia and from representatives of Partner organisations. The issues in focus is how to enhance cooperation between school - formal education, and youth work - non-formal education for competences development, how to make better use of learning-by-doing and experiential learning in formal education practices and the most challenging, how to apply them for teaching different subjects. It was a boost of creativity for designing of educational activities that would continue from school lessons to after school activities provided by yoouth workers.

The worksop is a part of the Erasmus+ Youth, KA2 project "Development of competences for Democratic citizenship through formal, non-formal and informal learning". ( EU Erasmus+ Programme). It is a follow up of mobility activities that took plase on the first stage of the project implementation and is organised by the partner organisations:

Regional Youth Center (Kosice, Slovakia),
Civis Polonus Foundation (Warsaw, Poland)
